The hand-crank SDH Series reels feature heavy-duty all-steel construction and are designed for long lasting performance in combustible environments where static buildup could ignite a spark and subsequent explosion. The reels handle galvanized or stainless steel cable in 100- or 200-ft lengths of 3/32-in. diameter wire rope covered with a vinyl coating totaling 5/32 in. diameter. They also feature an integrated drag brake/reel stop to prevent free wheeling and cable uncoiling during storage or transport. Reels are fitted with an FDA-compliant C-PEP composite grommet-style cable guide, which allows even wrapping, and a comfort fit crank handle for use in limited spaces.
