The Best Yield Within Close Quarters

Sweco www.sweco.com , a business unit of M-I LLC, recently announced the manufacturing availability of its ALPHA turbo classifier from a recent acquisition of Ecutec SL, which is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. These classifiers intend to achieve the best yield at a low specific energy consumption, while occupying narrow and difficult space conditions, according to the company. The classifier was developed for the production of fine products from 150 to 6 microns, and is especially well-suited for dry powders—both mineral and chemical.

Depending on the fineness required, this equipment can be fed by gravity from the top or from the main airstream below, as well as customized with stainless steel, ceramic or polyurethane for wear protection and specific material requirements. Sweco says this classifier requires minimal maintenance, yet can accommodate various options to meet a wide range of air classification needs.
