To meet the needs of its expanding business, Schenck AccuRate recently announced the opening of a second manufacturing facility.

The 9,000-square-ft. space has been equipped with overhead cranes and other tools needed to assemble and test large weigh feeders (or weigh-controlled belt feeders), in addition to a new line of alternative fuel feeding systems. The new space, combined with the company's main facility, is projected to meet manufacturing and assembly demands through 2010.

In addition to the new facility, Schenck AccuRate opened a new sales office in February and has been remodeling its main plant location over the last year.

Bill Samborski, Schenck AccuRate director of operations, states, "I see this as a positive sign that we are growing successfully; it's nice to have these kinds of positive challenges."

Schenck AccuRate manufactures and supplies volumetric and gravimetric feeders, weigh feeders, solids flowmeters, bulk bag discharging systems and vibratory feeders.
