Portable Fluidizer for the Lab

The M-110P Microfluidizer processor is a portable bench-top lab machine that needs no compressed air or cooling water. Designed to operate reliably at up to 30,000 psi process pressure, it requires only a standard 20-amp single-phase electrical outlet. Using the company’s fixed geometry diamond interaction chamber technology and ceramic plunger, it allows the production of nano-suspensions and nano-emulsions as well as liposomal encapsulation and cell disruption with the fewest number of passes. It handles flow rates between 110-155 ml/minute at any process pressure, which makes possible the efficient processing of pharmaceutical formulations, fine chemicals, and biological material ranging from simple oil-in-water emulsions to highly immiscible solids-in-liquid suspensions. A programmable logic controller manages on-board operation including audio-visual alarms, alarm acknowledgment and silencing, and motor starter interlocks. If an operating parameter is out of tolerance, this PC-based system will alert users to respond.
