Custom Shaft Seals

Booth 2531

These custom-engineered shaft seals for rotating dry bulk process equipment provide an alternative to packed gland-type seals in clean-in-place systems. The shaft speed envelope now extends to 1,000 surface-feet-per minute on dry-running shafts. Seals certified for European ATEX service are also available. The seals are used in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, plastics, and minerals processing industries. Custom shaft seals are for slower-turning bulk processing equipment including mixers, blenders, reactors, conveyors, dryers, bucket elevators, grinders, crushers, and agitators. A wide range of shaft diameters can be retrofitted on vertical, inclined, or horizontal shaft equipment. The seals accommodate 1/4 in. or more of diametric runout.
